Now, I will be gone, away from internet access this Saturday until late, but, I will list something when I return home.

I won these from other auctions and far as I know they haven't been. I don't grade coins. That is all I can tell you. I have auctioned several coins in my four-plus years on here and haven't had any complaints yet.

Another thing they don't seem to realize is that Listia flags their account for failure to pay. Yes, you're right, if you relist it, it doesn't do as well the second time around.

Yes, it happened to me a lot!! For the four plus years I've been on Listia probably 95% of all my auctions were open bidding without a starting bid amount and without a gin amount. Just recently I've had so many winners fail to pay that I started listing all my auctions gin only. I was reluctant to list this one without gin but, thought I would try it again.

hi-point of info--on the $20 bill of 1934 it is only redeemable for lawful money not gold which was stopped in 1933---the 1928 was redeemable for either gold or lawful money at that time

Yes, and something else to note..In 1934, the government price of gold was increased to $35 per ounce, effectively increasing the gold on the Federal Reserve’s balance sheets by 69 percent. This increase in assets allowed the Federal Reserve to further inflate the money supply.
The government held the $35 per ounce price until August 15, 1971, when President Richard Nixon announced that the United States would no longer convert dollars to gold at a fixed value, thus completely abandoning the gold standard. In 1974, President Gerald Ford signed legislation that permitted Americans again to own gold bullion.
