Description

The listing, Hero Weave-It Hand Loom 4" NEW in Box w Needle Instructions has ended.

Up for auction is a vintage Hero WEAVE-IT LOOM that has never been used.

I can remember my own blanket made of Weave-It squares when I was a child. It was different colored squares and I would look at the different colors while I was supposed to be napping!

So I made one for each of my own children! If done correctly, they will last for years and years. And with today's colorful yarns, beautiful heirlooms can be created!

This is a sturdy lt. blue plastic hand-held pin loom that you weave squares on. Very portable and easy to learn to use. Even older children can easily pick this craft up. And yes, I know the one in the scan is yellow -- I had two and didn't want to re-scan. :)

This was kind of hard to scan because it is 3-dimensional and my scanner only likes flat items, but I hope you can get the picture! The needle and instructions are included. And you can go on the internet and download patterns to make baby sweaters, caps, booties; afghans; doll clothes, and more!

All you need is some odds and ends of yarn and you are all set! I have shown a square from the project I am currently working on with my own loom. Somehow the upper part of the square is missing from the scan (and this is an hour-glass pattern, which you can also find on the internet).

You're welcome! I use mine in front of the TV. Surprising how fast they work up once you've done a couple!

Can you send the winner links to the pattern websites you like to use for this?

I will try! I didn't bookmark them (and it was a couple months ago), but they shouldn't be hard for me to find again...

Actually I can probably print out the hour-glass pattern (along with two others), as I have one pattern book in my possession, and it has those in it.
