Description

The listing, Tom Peterson watch has ended.

Yes, this is the man! The "Wake up! Wake up!" man of a simpler time (to buy furniture and electronics). This limited edition watch requires a new battery, your own bacnd andstems to hold the band in place. A must have for any Nirvana, Gus Van Zant fan or Northwest native..

Actually, yes and no. I am a fan of Kurt's lyrical genius...as I am of Eminem. I just saw a poster of Curt Cobain and he was supposedly wearing a Tom Peterson watch. For the longest time, Gus was putting Tom Peterson or his image in all of his Portland-shot movies....To Die For, Drugstore Cowboy...

So, what's good enough for the grunge-meister is good enough for you, huh?

Sorry the watch is without a band andbattery, but I think you can pretty much pick them up for a song. Batteries Plus seems to be the place to go for any kind of battery....except car batteries, I think. They are all over.

Are you a Tom Peterson fan or a watch collector?
I have to admit, Portland has produced some really quirky characters.......Tom Peterson, Tonya Harding, Gus Van Sant, Ted Newsom (imdb this one)...

hi,
Other than the mentioned battery, band & "stems", any issues, ha! I do not see any obvious or other scratching, etc. Water-Resistant? thanks!

Hmmmm, I suppose I should answer these in the order they were posted. Elijah, I did not think you were questioning my integrity, but rather I stated that for future reference.....I do what I can to garner XP's, but other than coming right out and stating it," I don't know how to convey that I have integrity. It just takes time dealing with people on a business or personal level, I guess.
I will change that Local PU to state Will Ship in US for free. I am not out to make a buck. This is all new fun to me. I should be able to put it in a "hand stamp only" marked padded envelope and get it out for a buck.

THANKS! That is really cool! I know exactly what you mean..It is Fun, I have encountered some really nice people on Listia. Also, as I have learned at least 4 times, Bid on items and had 1000's of points in limbo, from people whom think it's a "game". I appreciate your timely answers and honesty. Thanks! Deb

Well, the auction part is rather "gameish", but people play games differently. Some play "cutthroat"...
