There will always be some bad apples mixed in with the good ones but we mustn't let that stop us doing good when and where we can. I also have had to deal with some dishonest individuals on here as well. This is the second $500.00 gift card I've done on here and the first went well. I just make sure I have a receipt for the gift card and the postal receipt with the tracking and delivery date on it and also make photos of both. Thanks very much and God Bless!! :)

Your response seemed a bit defensive. It was a legitimate question. I had a little over 3,000 xnk from selling & bonuses (which was a value of over $400, at least before the conversion), and i thought that was quite a lot. I see most gift cards sell for 4x the "value," and I'm surprised that so many people actually have these kinds of points.

I like to donate when I can, but it's rare, and hard to find decent organizations. Its hard for me to morally support so many non-profits when their CEOs/top execs make a personal, base salary of over $200,000 (some close to $1-million !). No person needs that kind of money. More of it should be going to their research/helping others. So many church leaders living lavish lives (from donations), while their 'followers' struggle.. But, we know this world is only temporary, and not our Home.

We are poor/low income. I'm stuck feeding my toddler near-plain pasta for lunch and/or dinner lately as we can't afford more. But, just yesterday God has greatly blessed us, with perfect timing as always. I won a few high value gift cards for little xnk, so now we can have some decent meals. It did help that they're for a somewhat local/regional establishment, so not many on here can actually use them.

I am so sorry, never meant to whatsoever!! I do however, take offense to those who seem to love to live for nothing other than causing problems, especially for a wonderful cause.!! I understand where your are coming from and what you are saying and agree completely myself!! I donate to different charities but, am very careful about which ones because I want to make sure where the money is going. It is for exact people as yourself that I do this but, there are always those who abuse, lie, and take advantage of their situation!! I don't like to call attention to myself but. I have helped many people out and especially those on Listia!! I just take quick offense to those who seemingly love to down-play or downgrade someone's auction out of envy or jealousy because they think the proceeds are going to the seller!! I always reinvest my winnings in other auctions to help other people out, not myself!!

Yea, it's easy to be deceitful and whatnot online. I was looking at phones last week. One seller had quite a few, with no decent pics, and no description/details whatsoever. I was also looking on ebay. I came across similar listings and pictures, so asked if they were the same person on ebay. Also asked details about the phones since non-existent. They said i was asking too many questions and 'accusing them,' then they blocked me, and hid my comments! They used (stole) watermarked photos from ebay.

Nonetheless, I as well struggled from the credit to xnk exchange and am surprised I'm still here. All I can say is I have met some really wonderful individuals on here and just love being able to do this. It truly helps me to be able to do this!! I was afraid of that happening as I also looked at your high bidders last auction date. No one can earn that many credits in surveys etc., neither are they going to purchase credits in that amount. What’s the point. I’m truly sorry if this happens and I hope a genuine member outbids it. Wish I could. Listia needs to ditch the ink and go back to credits. People STILL don’t know how to value their items yet Listia is taking listing fees from these ridiculous starting amounts. While we hold these long involved auctions only to be left unpaid is beyond infuriating. Now that school is out it’s only worse. We’re the ones suffering through this, certainly not the company but members are dropping like flies. I’ve only just listed a few auctions after staying away but things just don’t sell like they used to so it’s only a trial run with these auctions. Doubt I’ll be staying. I am watching as well. My husband and I also support St. Jude's and think it is a worthy cause! Also went thru the same with my grandmother with Alzheimer's and know the pain and frustration of it. She didn't even know our names some days and when it is a loved one that previously made your world sunny, it hurts! I will pray for you and your mom as you take care of her. The Lord will bring you through but not always easy to remember. I'm just getting started on Listia after a 3-4 year break and not sure what I think about the new XNK. Oh, some very uplifting and refreshing words to my ears!! :) Too many are seemingly unscathed and untouched, and even bitter towards the suffering of others!! I often have a feeling of exasperation seeing the uncaring attitudes of so many people in the world!! So, so very sorry for your sufferings as well and lift up my humble plea to the Lord on your behalf as well!! I know the weary painful path leads to far greater things but, it isn't easy at times!!
