Strange question, but does the mouth of them open pretty far? Like maybe a quarter of an inch or so? Seeing if they would hold up fabric onto a corrugated board is the reason for asking :)

They open right at 1/2 inch pushed all the way open. As strong as they are, holding up fabric should be no problem---but it's for you to decide!! Good Luck :o)
