Thanks ~ I use mine for houseplants & I've turned some into really neat glow in the dark night lights ~ but it is large enough as shown to hold fish, tiny tetra would be perfect, but ultimately how the owner chooses to use this item is all about personal preferences :)

I think a beta would do well in this :) I've seen betas at stores in tanks half this size lol! I'm also planning to use a few of these in my kitchen window to plant basil, mint, thyme & more. One of my local grocery stores has some really pretty kitchen herb plants for just $3! After I get my own window full ~ I'm hoping/planning to list these with those herbs, a small bag of soil & plant food as a kitchen herb starter kit & I may even include a care book or pamphlets :)
