Hi, I have no idea why people bid with xnk they don't even have then never follow through. I also have no idea why Listia keeps allowing it to happen. By the time someone does it, even if I block them they still messed up my auction and forced me to re-list...c'mon, she has no credits and isn't even verified yet she bid SO. MANY. XNK. and it is allowed. frustrating yet keeps being allowed to happen. GAAAH!!!

XNK takes the place of Credits here now, and yes, supposedly you can buy them, but not here...I am having a time trying to get xnk due to people bidding xnk they don't have and then not paying, so I am forced to re-list my auctions. Top right of page click green link "Get Ink" for more info.

I don’t know how well this actually helps but what I’ve been doing is actively blocking every new person I come across in auctions - more specifically the ones who are bidding extraordinary high amounts of XNK and not having ANY auctions, feedback (seller and buyer), and who are not verified. I go through their profile to see if they’ve ever listed anything or if they’ve won anything. If they have won something, I check out the amount they paid for it. And make my decision that way. I go through many listings (in my spare time) that are similar to the items I also list and do my best to block the ones that are making bogus bids and based on what I just said.

I HATE that this is happening to so many good Listians now. Barely any of us are able to make any decent XNK because of this. It’s incredibly unfair. This is the first time I’ve told anyone about my method and I’m hoping that it’s acceptable and that it will maybe, just maybe help others if they do the same.

Regardless, I am so sorry that you and all of the other decent sellers out there are dealing with this nonsense. I really, really hope that something is done about this sooner rather than later. But in the meantime, I am heading over to that site you mentioned as soon as I hit send. ❤️

Too late for the over bid auction though, I do block un verified folks and those who offer free shipping for their car ( really!) but the auction is still ruined and needs to be re listed. I have blocked over 200. Still tho, one will pop in and bid a million they dont have and ruin an auction. Best of luck to you and i will see you over "there."
