This Gaillardia Single Mix produces a wide range of colors and variations creating a sure focal point in the garden. They'll bloom continuously through the Summer and Fall. These Gaillardia will flourish in many planting zones and are hardy to zone 2!

Gaillardias are members of the Sunflower family and are also referred to commonly as Blanket flowers or Indian Blanket. They're a classic, North American native wild flower that, of course, are well adapted to the environment. They can easily withstand harsh environments like low rainfall or hot conditions. In addition, they can tolerate poor soil types but do best in well drained soil. All these attributes make them an excellent flower for the beginning gardener. They're also great for attracting pollinators to the garden. Gaillardias are also appealing to beneficial predatory insects to keep your garden ecosystem balanced.

They're fairly compact plants and will also do well planted in containers or window boxes. They'd be a great flower for small decks or balconies. They also make a fantastic cut flower with their distinctive appearance!
