I’ve always caught little negativity bc I chose to use gin options my whole listia experience ..protected me for my investment my first class shipping and has worked awesome for me for 6 years ..I haven’t had one non payment yet again bc gin option you have to pay right then and listia makes you have the Xnk and past credits to gin ...once again gin is saving my butt ..blessed I Rem you from years ago and I know your honest good person ..people say will gins not fair ,real auctions are not ran like that ..not true it’s about knowing your product imo and therefore putting what you need based on product cost ,10 % gin loss ( honestly I think has always helped me w listia ...I spend a lot threw my on and off time on here so listia loves that they get some ) also my shipping ....not as active but shipping ran into 4 figures a year some years ....I goto auctions in real life and they don’t all start at dollar bc it saves time starting at fair amount ...all legit too ...I’m seeing long time Listians leave bc of non payment ..imagine doing 21 day auctions and no payment then that happens several times in a row ...we need a badge that keeps order or amount feedback that you reach before you can bid on anything ..be nice as sellers if we could set that to what we felt comfortable with say 25-50 positive feedback and also you should be absolutely responsible ...new Listians connect debit / credit card ...bc basically listia is sayin new Listians can bid whatever bc they have the option to use credit card to pay ..how about you sign agreement or bidding contract ...we’re loosing people who started back in 2009 or beginning....yeah gin only I’ve had zero problems ...I mostly list trading cards which change constantly in value ..I sale on average about 1000-3000 Xnk per auction but also I buy average on bigger items around 4000-10,000 xnk coach n mk of course some smaller but my average is high it works for me great and I got tons of competition in card community ..good luck

They need to figure something out because listia is just going down the drain. It's not a legit website when they don't habe standard rules for New buyers

if listia reverted to the old way, there would be no problem. no bidding unless you have the ink in your account. not bid now, pay later.

I totally agree!! And I do 21 day auctions to give everyone a chance to rack up xnk . I had a bunch of Halloween auctions New users bid on and didn't pay for...but it's a little too late to list them now. I was just being nice and bought some stuff to help members out that needed it. I'll just donate the rest to the womens shelter. They love when I bring them stuff:)

Me too I only do 21 day auctions too I agree letting everyone have a chance ! It use to be fun I enjoyed selling my plants on here and other stuff use to you couldn’t bid if you didn’t have enough credits and if you bid on more than one it held your credits wish they still did that you couldn’t over bid that way !! Anyway nice auction definitely watching!!!

Making new users buy XNK would, essentially, not make Listia a,free/trade site, which is a big draw. I do agree, though, that Listia needs to come up with some kind of a way to prevent this from happening. I've had it happen a few times, and I don't like it. I just have no idea on how to do it.

Thanks. When it was credits if you didn't have them you couldn't bid. And credits would automatically be transferred at the end of auction to prevent people from bidding and not paying:)

The problem with the use of new users bidding on items is they can bring ink in from other places and listia has no control over who can or can not bid on items ..

Listia allows users to bid without having the xnk available. It didn't used to be like this. If you didn't have the credits available it wouldn't let you bid.

They need to pay after the auction ends. All the new users aren't.
