The other one must've ended huh? I missed it. I was busy putting up another perfume auction because my other one got GINned. I was looking all over for it, I thought Listia had deleted it. LOL Then I noticed I had an increase in credits and it dawned on me....OMG, somebody GINned it!

I collect these things but never thought about making things with them I give them all to the Ronald McDonald house to help pay for people to stay there when their children are hospitalized. I stayed in one for a few months recently but could not afford to pay. My stay was covered by the tabs people donate. Watching!

MzBrenda, So what do you think of the new ability to set an auctions starting bid as high as one wants? Peeps are already trippin with starting bids in the thousands! Greed is their master.......I pledge to stick with a maximum starting bid of 100 on all my auctions. I don't even always have a GIN, just once in a blue moon.

Just an FYI - the tab collecting does not buy treatments, only to help families stay at the house. And it takes over 1400 tabs to weigh a pound...which makes maybe 52 cents at the recycling center. Instead be creative and make some of this awesome stuff to sell and donate the money

OMG! I did the same thing, that is to funny. I couldn't figure ou why I had more credits all of a sudden. Iwas in there say an hour beforeand I had 425 credits, so I went through my auctions I was bidding on nope didn't dawn on me either I had been GINned.

Get It Now is an optional feature that lets sellers specify the exact amount of credits they would be willing to accept to end an auction early. Bidders would then have the option to "Get it Now" instead of going through the auction process and competing with other bidders.

I really don't get what the big deal is. Why can't pp just have fun and treat everyone fair. Bad mouthing is a child game. I thought Listia was for adults. Hope you don't give up because of a child's game. Don't let the bad one win. Do what you like to do. If you like putting up these auction than do it. I have been watching your awhile and learned alot from how you run a auction. Thank you for being a great LISTIA and your great auction. I don't see anything wrong with what you are doing.
