The listing, 1863 Confederate USA Jefferson Davis stamp probable Scott #11 has ended.

Up for auction is a probable Scott CSA #11 1863 Confederate stamp portraying Jefferson Davis. I say "probable" because it was sold as a 10c but I have not had it certified because I think it is probably the more common 11. The stamp appears genuine CSA due to apparent age and condition of back of stamp. Please see photos for id, condition, and grade. Probable Estimated CV $20-25, although if it's really a 10c it's a steal. It looks like someone drew in a frame line, but, again, certification may prove me very very wrong! A good buy either way.

I don't know, it is certainly aged, but the catalog value is slightly higher for a cancelled stamp. Please see photos before bidding. If it is dirty, it is probably detrimental to the value to clean it. Thank you for asking.
