Description

The listing, Texas Mountain Laurel Pods- blooms smell like grape soda! has ended.

Three pods- two seeds in each.

First photo is a stock photo. Second is the pods you are bidding on. Last photo is what they look like in my garden!

These smell amazing, and have pretty blooms, however, they are slow growing and poisonous if ingested. It can be grown as a medium to large shrub or trained to a single or multi-trunk tree. The blooms resemble lavender or violet pea flowers with the scent of grape Kool Aid. The black, somewhat constricted seedpods contain red to red-orange seeds which are sometimes used in jewelry. In zones colder than Zone 8, flowering is not reliable because of late freezes which damage the buds. Texas mountain laurel is difficult to successfully transplant from the wild. Also, the seeds should be soaked or nicked to successfully germinate.

If you have any questions, just ask.

If bidding goes over 800 points, I will add another pod.

Not too sure. They can, but it's not native. I found a site with some info that might help. Again, I am not sure how well these will grow. It's my first time to collect pods, and I am in the same boat. lol.
