Incredibly popular with the upper class women of the 1860’s through the 1910’s, these beautiful sterling silver purses were designed with a small ring so you could wear it dangling from your finger. This piece is in mint condition, with no rips or tears anywhere the frame meets the mesh. That always happens with these mesh purses. It is extremely rare to find one in such amazing condition.

It measures 3” long and 2 3/4” at its widest point. Total weight is 35.903 grams. This would make a really lovely gift, or even better, something to put the gift of a lifetime in!
