The listing, Creature Card #1 "Splotch Monster" Edition. Original Artwork by Rhonda Chase (ATC ACEO) has ended.

This auction is for Creature Card #1 in the Splotch Monster Edition.

"Splotch Monsters" are a creation of the artist Stece Loya. He has been making one a day for much longer than I have. Thanks to the Listian who brought his work to my attention. This month will be in honor of his work.

Today is my son's 2nd birthday. He is pictures in the last image. He is not up for auction. He helped make the card that is up for auction today. He made the initial painting that I made into a creature. He also painted on the back of the card. The painting is shown in the third image. Happy Birthday Baby!

The card will be finished the day of the posting. This card is the standard regulation size of 3.5" x 2.5" or 2.5" x 3.5" respectively. You receive the original work of art and not a copy. These cards are mailed in an acid free, black backed, protective sleeve inside of a top loader for their protection and for your display should you choose not to frame the work.

My goal with this project is to spread art around the globe and what better place then here, at what better price then free! I will attempt to make and post a new card every day for the whole year!

I encourage the winning bidder to give the creature a name if they like :) (and any other information about the character such as gender, scale and any other defining attributes they choose)

I retain the copy write to the image. At the end of the year all the images and stories will be compiled into a book!

I own a gallery, have a bachelors degree in art, am internationally recognized and have shown in museums (just to name a few things.) My resume is available upon request.

I haven't been active much on lists lately as I'm doing renovations and it's taking all my time so I didn't know you'd begun the splotch monster series til a few moments ago. I'm so happy you ran with the idea and have your son helping too! Love what you've done so far. Sweet monsters! Let me know in private MSG how you do the splotches. I want to make some too if I can get up the nerve! :-)

Maybe the thing is having Kaleb paint it for me? (having one of the kids help was also not my initial idea, although Ashley was suggested instead. Perhaps I should keep having him paint. The response to this one has been very nice.
