Description

The listing, VINTAGE POSTCARDS BELFAST 1940'S IN COLOR has ended.

This is a unique collection of five post cards from the early 1940's. They are called 'The Daino-Color Letter Card." Bangor." The Fine Art Series, Publishers: Hurst and Co., Cornmarket, belfast. A map Co, Down and places of interest is on the back of one of them. They are all joined together, but the sealing flap is partially separated. The cards themselves are in fair-good condition, shows a little bit of wear, but in general the colors are very nice, printing is clear and legibile. Picture one is the Bangor Castle, Co. Down. #2 is The Beach, Bangor Co. Down. #3 is Bangor County Down. #4 is Queen's Parade, Bangor Co. Down. #5 is Ballyholme, Bangor Co. Down. The map is printed on the back of postcard #3. These were brought home after WII by my dad and I have more so I thought someone else might enjoy them, also. In case you don't know, Belfast is in Ireland, as you can see, a very beautiful country.
