Schools collect the tabs for different money making projects to buy computers or, as in the case of one school I subbed at, to buy a handicapped wheel chair for a handicapped student. my son just told me a friend is saving them for a medical situation which I don't understand, some ppl use them for craft projects. don't know what the hobo wanted them from but he must know something, huh? i think it's a job for the google search! haha

Very talented people out there, from the items in the pics... Another GREAT idea for these tabs... The Ronald McDonald House collects donations of these tabs, and then recycles them to help cut/cover the costs of providing a place for the Families that stay there for free, when kids/loved ones are having serious health issues, operations, etc! It's a GREAT way to 'Pay It Forward' and to help keep the Ronald McDonald Houses open, all over the country, for those who desperately need them... Thanx so much!

Very interesting auction. My wife and I were in amazement of what you can make with these. I also save these myself and have a couple baggies myself. My sons schools take them in order to help them out. But making things seem cool too! Makes me want to check out some small designs lol.
