I think that I knew from the start that here was going to be some controversy on this coin without it having any pace to add the fact that it was .999 silver.
if whoever does not want this when they win, I will gladly refund the winner and keep it myself.
especially after today trying to find it anywhere and seeing that it is impossible to find.
thank you for that Jerry and I know what you usually collect, but you may want to see an older Carson City Morgan that I am in the process of getting ready to list. was not worth having it graded but did get a COA on it because of its worth.

Ahhh, to remember the days when giving up your age did not really matter. :)
I have a feeling that you may never again see something like this with all of the "hoopla" going on about President Trump, and if you ever do, I would not be surprised if they left out 2016 thru 2020 or even 2024. without getting into any politics here, I am just embarrassed for all of us to have the world now watching as what used to be an example for the rest of the world to follow.
This truly is a great coin and had to take some real work to accomplish on what could have been so much easier to place on to a 5 ounce sized coin instead. another reason for my purchase of a magnifying glass to actually see the detail that did go into this art work on this coin.

It's a very nice coin and yeah with Trump you either love him or hate him I will admit there's been better but also feel like there's been worse

so true... everything comes in waves but never have we been so split before. we can only hope that the last split such as this with Lincoln, is not where we are heading again. good luck if you do decide to bid on this coin.

Not being rude but just double checking. I found one online with a certificate that it’s silver cladded bronze

where this coin came from, I know that it is not plated. for those of you who are not sure, just move on to another auction. it is not worth your time or trouble to ruin the coin by trying to truly test it.
all coins have a counterpart that has been created and then plated in an attempt to make it worth something more than it is. I have found that a metal detector has always run at about 60% accuracy and you would need to take a piece from it to 100% verify its content. My alloy analyzer tells me that it is .999 fine silver and I still would have not claimed so if I did not know and trust where it came from.

I wasn’t trying to say you were lying. I didn’t see the word Solid silver in the description and I’ve seen other auctions were the lister wasn’t even sure if it was.

I understand. I would want to see something on it as well stating what it was minted with on coins. This one is a bit different, for there is no place at all to add the fact that it is minted with .999 Silver. I even have trouble believing that a coin such as this one would even be re-created with the artwork being added to it.
do you also mean in mt description that it does not state "solid" Silver? I see that I did not use that exact term, except in the title. I guess I went more into the detail of what the coin is and what went into creating it after I knew I had already stated .999 Fine Silver.
I have 2 of these and both show the same with the alloy tester and I almost wish one did not so as to know exactly what it should weigh in at for each. I have not been successful in finding what the weight of the coin is supposed to be, for that has always been the best way of knowing if it is solid silver or just plated.

These were minted by the National Collector's Mint, and sold in the White House gift shop.
And yes, they are 1 ounce of 999 fine silver.

This is one seller you can trust!
