I opened this and put about ten stitches in it and then remembered how much i hat to sew, crochet is my preference. Now it is for someone else to finish, it has needle, thread,music box, plastic canvas small size and all directions.

does the music box still work?

The components for the music box are in a separate little package and it has never had the batteries in it and it comes with two batteries i but you cant test it unless you put it all together and I dont want to do that and take the chance of messing it up, it is not like one of those little button ones it is one that has to be assembled.

The package says "counted cross stitch". I know they are not the same thing. Is the one up for auction different than the picture?

it is a counted cross stitch piece its just on itty bitty plastic canvas instead of aida cloth.
