Description

The listing, Inchie 1x1 Zentangle original artwork by Rhonda Chase has ended.

This auction is for a very small 1x1 inch original ink drawing. These are known as inchies and are popular for many reasons. They are a great way to collect art from many artists without taking up much space. They also work in doll houses among other things.
Happy Bidding! I always fan back.

Makes me think of 'Eye of Horus'
I want to win it and if I do I would like to make into a necklace if that okay with you - I wouldn't put holes in it or anything!

ooo that sounds cool. How would you make it? (btw it's yours if you win you can put holes in it if you want to, but I appreciate the sentiment behind your words greatly) Would really like to see how to make an inchie into jewelry!

^_^ I will have a pic made if I win it - after I make it. I would have to make a little frame that could go on a necklace, I don't know what color yet.

I love the idea with the necklace SO much that I'm hoping that fan wins this so i can see the finished product, that just sounds so neat!!! I love this one Rhonda!! I think it looks kinda like a cute tribal dragon with a really strong eye, i was curious how are fans displaying the inchies in a collection? I asked ungala the same question, since im so new at this i would love to collect these too but im not to sure how to display or collect them, the ATC i plan to put in an album with plastic holders/like baseball cards i got a lot of friends who love art and would adore looking at this album currently trying to collect since im so new at this, thanks for your inspiration and your kindness, i plan on putting yours an ungalas the first 2 in my album since your the two who inspired me to try

Here is a link to someone who has some great concepts for using inchies, perhaps they will inspire your creative side! http://inchiearts.typepad.com/
I'm rather new to them so personally I'm not sure that I would do with them.
I really would like to see this in a necklace idea too. Sounds wonderfully marketable :) The ATC's are easy to collect since they fit in trading card holders. I really like the selves that have nine holes, they go in three ring binders so you can keep your collection in one location for sharing easily. I have some in frames and around my studio as well. I love being able to have art from so many different sources!
