Hi, I'm watching many of your auctions. There are so many I would like to have, but I've been one to hog everything and my 'credits stash' will prevent getting all that I want. I just wanted to thank you for sharing with us! I live on a farm, for many reasons and was blessed today to watch beetles making an underground sanctuary. Love nature! Kate :) BB

OMG Are they dung beetles? I love them so much, no idea why. LOL I never seen one in real life. :( I now live in NY and we don't even have fireflies here. So sad! I am from Pennsylvania, we had fireflies everywhere, every night. None here! It's horrible! Only 45 mins away and no pretty bugs. Hehe! Where I am from, lots of farms, but back then i never had an interest in those beetls. But the amazing work they do, I could watch them for hours!

Hi, OMG, is right! yes, they were dung beetles! It was so peaceful hanging out with them just watching their diligence, expertise and fervor! I LOVE fireflies, too! They and the bats come out every evening about the same time. The dogs and I hang out on the porch listening to the crickets and frogs, watching the fireflies and bats play, the sun settle and the moon brighten. Life is good and getting better all the time. I missed the peacefulness of the farm and only came back 6 yrs ago. Now, I can't see myself anywhere else! I've had a fabulous diverse life in many places, but I'm blessed to be here.
