Days to maturity: 65-70 Very easy to grow!

Very sweet with a nice hint of tartness, originated in Poland. Fruits are enclosed in a papery husk, and drop to the ground when fully ripe. High pectin content makes this one choice for pies and preserves. And it's the gift that keeps on giving all summer long!

Do they come back every year or do you just start over again? And do you plant them in your garden or could i plant them in a hanging basket ? Are they vine like? Thanks. Lorri

No, you have to start over every year but they are very easy to grow. They grow upright so I don't know about the hanging basket. I grow them in a big pot, which works for me. If you have them in the ground they might come back by way of dropped fruits with seeds.....
