Now I have heard that be for, but my grandmother all ways called it her purple jew and she all ways had lots of it year round in side and out side, I am going to take a look, I may be calling it by the wrong name.

I've always known it as Purple Jew too - whatever it is - I love the dark contrast when planted next to lighter colored plants.
