I have always wanted to try growing orchids. Yours are so colorful and beautiful. Are they grown only in the moss?

I use orchid potting mix, the coconut moss comes with the orchid nest or recipient, sorry my english is no good. Anyway, that coconut moss is only a liner. The potting mix is a mixture of Fir bark (wood pieces) , charcoal, and coarse perlite. You can get the Orchid potting mix at Walmart. They also have the orchid recipients but since you make so beautiful creations, maybe you can create some. They just do not like water too much so should use something with good dreinage.
