Yep i agree, Newbie's should have a xnk spending limit, well unless they register a cc then it would be understandable, but 90% don't and just run those bids up with no intentions to pay, But on the bright side they do it three times with no pay they get suspended or removed, either way they will not do it again.

Great auction and I've had to deal with non payers as well. These are good laptops. I'm wondering if this one would be covered by a protection plan such as square trade or something.

I honestly have no idea. I mean I think all are covered for a while once you buy them and register them. It has a bunch of papers to it. I believe it comes with a free virus protection also.

That's awesome. My chromebook comes with dr web so I assume this one would as well and it's free. I think you might be able to purchase a warranty on amazon though.

If I put my premium tech listings with a really low starting bid, do you think I will get a lot of bids as well, like you do?

I have a few tech that should end with high xnk, but usually end really low. That’s why I started putting gin only for them.

I always start it low and with items like these they get good bids you just have to constantly keep an eye out for newbies, if they bid I block them immediately. Always list the item for 21 days and pay for a premium auction the more time and eyes that you get on your auctions the better your chances for selling it at a good price. Try one item out and see how it goes.

Oh my goodness. Too weird, but a couple of days ago I was getting ready to leave work and I had brought my laptop with me that night so that I could do some postings. As I went to pick up my laptop, it slipped right through my hands and crashed on the hard floor. I didn't break at least on the outside. However when I got home and turned it on, well.... lets just say I couldn't log on. I'm devastated as I lost over 4,000 pictures. I've been able to recoup some of them but not all. Anyway, I sure could use this right about now. I'm using a very old Dell. It's working, but so so so slow........ Great auction. Best wishes and good luck to all.

You have to log on through your computer or through the internet search engine on your phone, NOT the app. Go into your auction and at the top it says listing options, click on premium and it will ask you if you want 1 or 2 XNK deducted from you XNL and it will them get it on the list when you go to browse or when someone looks that type of particular item up it will be at the top of the list or close to it! It basically allows your listing seen by more people. Like mine is at the top of the browse section right now.

I’ve had many cases where people would win and not pay in the end either. Like more than 5 times it happened to me so I started putting most of my premium items at gin only. Hopefully that correct that problem.

But listia is full of a lot of 0 feedback people who post iPhones on their first listing and are total scams. Hopefully one day listia gets rid of the scammers out there with no feedback and who don’t respond after winning a listing

I agree, we lost a lot of those people when listia changed to XNK and the way they allowed people to bid higher than what they had in XNK. My belief is they do that in hopes people will buy XNK if they win and don’t have the XNK . I block soooo many people it’s unreal. You definitely have to stay quick on your toes to try and prevent new users from winning. Thank you for saying that, I try to list all sorts of different stuff when I’m selling.
