Has a inside mic to alter your own voice to sound like Darth Vader, and has a attached voice box with per-recorded famous Star Wars sayings, such as: "Luke, I am your father!" A must have for your Star Wars collections or as a Great Halloween Costume.

this is what I found on usps website, for a large flat rate shipping box. It would probably be cheaper to use one of these, that is if it will fit. I don't know the deminsions of the helmet, but thought it might help you.
It will, however cost some what more to use a plain box and label it yourself. I found that out the hard way.=0)
Have you checked to see if it will fit in one of these?? Some of the other prices for a 10 lb box are out of site! Even more that what amazon sells them for!

I did some research on the internet, but did not get a clear date. You might be able to find out more than me. I shop around and find interesting things I think bidders might like on Listia. Regarding the age, I have no idea how old. I found it at a Consignment shop. I looked up similar ones, but no date. Might want to try e-bay. If it came out after the first Star Wars Movie, then that would make it at least 30 years old. Just a guess.

The Helmet it's self is not so heavy, but the voice box is a little heavier. It will need to go into a Large Box. Thanks for asking.
