This auction is for a 1939-D Washington Quarter.

As you can clearly see, this coin has been in circulation, but not quite as much as others from this year. It can easily be placed between a Very Fine and Extra Fine Grade. At its age it is another very collectable coin and it is a lower mintage than most others at this age. Of course, if you are collecting for the Silver, it is 90% Silver.
