I debated whether or not to buy this book because (1) I viewed Jim and Tammy Bakker as almost everyone else. Their scandals were entertainment more than concern or disgust. (2) I am not an outwardly religious person and feared that the authors would rattle off religious dogma.

I WAS WRONG.

This is the BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ.

Bakker's self-examination and revelations about his own religion helped me to look inwardly with a more positive attitude. Bakker reveals anything and everything any of us may have questioned about Jim, Tammy Faye, their children, influential pastors, high-profile evangelists and even their air conditioned doghouse.
