As selling anything with uranium in it is highly illegal and hazardous, as far as I know (as I love and collect types of glass that react to UV light), there never was any uranium glass objects made and sold to the general public. Not trying to belittle you in any way or come off as a teacher but do want to see that you do not get into trouble and or have your integrity questioned.

Actually my brother is an attorney I will not get into trouble I asure you. And you search uranium glass because that is the term people use to describe it, you can google it and see. I love LOVE when people share things with me, their knowledge, their stories etc It brings me great joy, however; there is a right way and a wrong. I would never tell anyone how to list THEIR listing as that is not my business. And my comment to you may have sound rude, I am a straight up no bs blunt type of person. But I give what I get, meaning a tit for a tat, will go out of my way to make someone happy, but if I feel used or told what to do...I do dish it back, like a rubber band I snap fast. Thank you for worrying about it and me, but like I said if you google it, you will see it is a term that is widely used, and thanks again for your sharing knowledge. Have a good day.

Thanks so much and I so appreciate it, it does make a person feel good when told they are attractive. But really I needed to change it anyways not because of you, I have a lot of people pm me because of my pic, not wanting anything I have listed other then to chat and want to know everything about me. I dont use these sites for that, if I wanted that I would go to a dating site, but like I said not because of you, and yes thanks I appreciate it, but it only reminded me to change my pic, I have been planning to because of the pm's nt because of you :)

Just so you know and might want to reword your description, uranium does not glow green under blacklight. Phosphorous and or potassium glow green under blacklight when mixed in with the glass. The same as leaded glass glows blue and sodium-based glass glows orange. Radium glows green when mixed in the glass but it does not due to blacklight alone but does with regular daylight as well.

Its all makeup, true beauty comes from inside not the outside. You can be so called beautiful and still be ugly as your heart is not a good one and visa versa. But I am not looking for a date or chat, and I am not being mean at all, thank you for the compliment, but I would rather people notice what I have to offer in all that I do, so I will not distract any others and will change my pic, as to not just you but many have also pm me n this, so I will change it. But thanks so much and I am glad you are interested in my plate. God Bless.

GM, do all the coffee plates have nicks, are the chips sharp if your finger rubbed across it and are they noticeable? Any cups or glasses coming? Thanks
Nov 12th, 2019 at 7:04:37 AM PST by
Original
Not noticeable at all, and I have not got to cups yet, actually pretty good shape given the age of it, but I always try and point to the bad first, They are pretty and still usable. I will be listing more glass, just do not know when yet, still sorting through stuff to list :)

Potassium glass is also known as potash glass, and due to the potassium-40 known asK-40 activity. K-40 is radio-active having 12 billion half year, and included 0.01% of natural potassium. 10% of potassium is in glass might not make it glow in the glass, K-40 becomes 10PPM known as 10gram in 1 ton. Then, the radio-activity becomes almost 1/100 of uranium glass, but more then the 10% will make it glow blue correct.
