This auction is for a 2 month old Pandigital tablet. It is a great little tablet....wifi is pretty fast and not a thing wrong with it.

I thought I had to have a tablet....but find I prefer using my laptop for the bigger screen.

I used this for email, web-browsing, listia, facebook, and several apps that I go to all the time.

It is powered by Android. You can download Android apps.

i believe it is android 2.1 system. I have one of these to ad I love it. It has the capability of changing the font size changing the text from black on white to white on black. You an download overdrive to it and checkout e-books from yor local library. That's what I use mine for mostly, but in a Dr's office or the car is also a great distraction for the kids. I downloaded amazon apps for androids and they hae a lot of free and .99 cent apps there. I reset it to clear the Barnes and Noble app and went with kobo books instead and they have tons of free books without having to have any money in your kobo account like you do with the Barnes and Noble app. Hope this helps whoever wins this awesome item.

I have never owned either one of those ... I know that you can use it like a laptop as far as online goes and it has word processing/excel etc. You can download apps . it has
an icon for that....alot of them free. I think as far as speed goes...it depends on the signal at your home or whatever hotspot.

No....you can use it with your home internet or use it for hotspots...this is not a phone so you do not have to have a service . It does have the Android operating system as you can see on the box.
