Most of them do best with little care. I used to want to over "pamper" them but it seems they do best when I ignore them! LOL Thanks for the comment!

Lol... ok ty for the tip I tried to do a bedding of pebbles and rocks just on top but they didn't do well

I have found that if I put too much gravel the weight of the pebbles gradually compacts the soil and robs the plant of vital oxygen to the roots.
