The listing, 2008 Toshiba Satellite Laptop has ended.

This a 2008 Toshiba Satellite Laptop. The laptop works great but it needs to stay plugged up or the battery will drain within the hour. It can work without the power cord if a new battery is brought. The laptop will keep the 2000 Microsoft office suite installed on it and a virus protection program.

No cosmetic conditions. There's micro scratches on the cover but nothing is missing or broken.

Does this have the VIsta Home Basic OEM sticker on it? And has it ever been set back to factory condition? Does it come with the restore software?

i have never reset the laptop, but it may help it run better if the winner does restore it. I do not have the restore disc but it is not needed. Computers can be manually restored to the factory settings. Here is the instructions. http://www.ehow.com/how_7172370_reset-toshiba-satellite-a135.html

What's the hard-drive size? is there 1, 2 hd's partitioned?

I don't know too much about that information. All the information I posted was from the computer itself so you would have to tell me where I could find it on there. Im not that computer literate savvy. I am pretty sure it is a 2008 because I purchased it new in late 2008. I guess that it is possible that it could be 2007

On Amazon the battery cost $15 -$18. Yes, it's a little slow loading but it also could be because our house has seven other appliances using our DSL connection.
