Description

The listing, ITT Tech Binder/Portfolio has ended.

Portfolio binder from ITT Technical Institute. They told us it's made of real leather, but I don't know that for sure... it might be fake leather, but it looks and feels really nice! Made by Leeds.
Has lots of pockets/slots, and a 3-ring center, and a slot for a large notepad on the right, and it zippers closed so nothing can fall out.

13.75"x11" and empty at it's thickets point is 2.5" counting the side pocket that sticks out about .5".

Was used only one time for a single presentation, been in a drawer ever since, so it's in very good shape.

Will offer FREE shipping if credits go over 300+
Otherwise, due to size & weight (over 2 pounds by itself) shipping will be $10 Parcel Post or $11 Priority Mail. Paypal (gift option only) or Amazon Payments (https://payments.amazon.com which charges no fees!) Also, if you are aware of a less expensive shipping option, I am open to ideas! Thanks!

Listia does not ALLOW paypal gift option only......
How wide is it as far as thickness. Schools require them to be no less than 1.5 inches. Also, all measurements would help. I am willing to bid the 300 for free shipping but not before the response :).

First, sorry about the measurements, I've now added them to the description... don't know how I forgot that. lol! If you're interested, I hope you can get someone to bid against you to get it TO the 300... we should be able to start @ higher minimums... I'd start it at 300 w/free ship. If you decide to bid, good luck!
Second, I searched & searched everywhere when I first started on Listia because I saw hundreds of others also asking for it, and I have found no 'rule' pertaining to paypal... but also it would make no sense to have that rule... because paypal is not set up for something like Listia really... on Listia, you are not "buying" an item... the bidder is only passing money to pay for THEIR postage when free ship isn't avail, therefore I shouldn't have to charge extra to cover the fees for a "purchase" when it's not a "purchase." Listia is all about 'free items... it isn't like ebay where people 'buy' items... we're giving them away 'free', the postage isn't the same thing as purchasing an item. So technically Listia should 'recommend' the personal option or come up with a different payment method that only covers shipping & doesn't charge fees! :-D

BTW, if there is a sheet of paper inside it, it can ship via media mail for much less than the other options. :)

Thanks for the idea... didn't think of that because they can be so strict on it... so to meet their needs, I printed something that meets the requirements to put inside. :-D

LOL, good deal. And, might I also suggest placing a piece of styrofoam of cardboard, soething in the rings to keep them round during shipment. :). Papertowel tube is probably too large around to go into the rings but might be enough if placed inside the binder, but you get the idea. :).

There is a portion in Listia's terms that says something about sending as a gift, but however the actual issue would be that paypal won't refund your monies if it's sent as a gift, thats why people will not send payment as a gift. This is a nice binder Good luck with your auction, I see the points have made it to free shipping, I might bid on this, as I already live in Vegas too.

I couldn't find that in the rules or anything... and I DO see that in hundreds of listings... and so far, I've paid ALL of my wins that way, and other people have paid me that way when they win. Plus, even on ebay or others, usually if you get a refund, shipping isn't included... & just like if you buy from a real retailer, they don't refund your shipping. And as for my items, I don't see anyone asking for a refund, at least I hope they won't ever have that need. If there is a problem, I have no problem refunding Listia credits, and if I feel they truly deserve it, I would give the money back, but in most cases I can't imagine shipping being refundable. If I won something from someone, and wasn't happy with the result, they still had to pay to ship it, so I wouldn't expect the money back, unless they INTENTIONALLY did something bad or lied about the item... but in normal cases, I can't imagine expecting a shipping refund. If you buy from almost ANY retail website & pay for shipping, then return the item, 99% don't refund the shipping fees.
If Listia does officially stop it & put it IN the actual "rules"... then the TONS of people doing it will have to charge even MORE to cover the fees... I hate charging anything, but I can't afford to pay the shipping on many things, especially if the credits are low. If I have to start charging even MORE, then nobody will ever bid... people don't like to bid on things with charged shipping as it is, much less if it's too high.
Listia needs to come up with a better way to handle shipping fee transfer... paypal isn't setup for something like this, so we end up with issues. Hmm oh well!

Public schools are merging here for poor financial cannot keep open the schools, it just finished court ruling and we parents just got word of the list of supplies and school uniform needs for each child. School starts in 3 weeks. It is a pretty tough financial ouchie as even the school colors have changed so that means all new uniforms for 3 teenagers. My son's biological Father, I put him thru ITI back when we were married. This will fit the criteria required as part of the school supplies list plus bear the logo where his Dad went to school for his profession. Thank you for working with me on the measurements and such. Hoping I was not too much of a bother. :).

I sale online for years now and have learned shipping rules, unique ways to package safely, ways to save the most possible shipping for my customers, etc. Was no problem sharing that info. :) Glad to have helped.
