i found it while organizing, i love finding old things i forgot about, and then realizing, "i've got too much stuff, i need to get rid of it!"

Okay, okey..... I do have a story about her that I must share. Well, It was my eldest daughter, Leah's birthday and I had won a pair of tickets to Cyndi Lauper's concert in Portland. I invited Leah. Actually I took her down to the auditorium and told her that I was going to see if they had tickets at the window to buy even though the sign said, "Sold Out." Our tickets were at the Will Call window. It was a very high energy concert, captured in Paris for HBO. Well, years later I learned from my younger daughter, Brenda, that "She was Cyndi Lauper, and Leah was Debbie Gibson." In other words, she had felt cheated and "dissed" by my taking Leah and not her. I felt really ignorant for not knowing. As Fate and Karma would have it, Brenda bought her own tickets to another CL concert about 10 years later. A young girl next to her could not see through the tall person standing in front of her, so Brenda lifted the girl on her shoulders. Later in the concert she took the girl up to the stage to give Cyndi a bouquet. Cyndi thanked her, smiled at Brenda and thanked her as well. I was so blessed by the story. It was nothing short of a personal miracle to me.
