15 seeds. GIN 20. Fast-growing easy to grow wildflower. Not fussy. Showy flowers w/ unique look! Blooms are sombrero-shaped w/ red to yellow droopy petals. Central brownish red cone. Great for naturalized setting & meadows. Drought tolerant. W/ moisture bloom season will be longer. Great nectar source for beneficial insects & plants are deer resistant. Likes full sun & hot dry locations. Divide or thin plants every few years to maintain vigor. Blooms mid-summer into fall.Easy to propagate from seeds in spring or fall. Fall seeding recommended. Sow into weed-free soil w/ top 1-2" loosened. Rake seeds into soil & barely cover. Keep moist til germination, & water plants til established. Plants grown from seed usually bloom 2nd year.
