like it says, works perfect,(note todays date on the screen). I just never really use it I tend to use my phone more for music. it has some music on it but i can do a factory reset on it before i ship it.. there's some cosmetic wear to it naturally, mainly just from floating around in my purse, nothing a case wouldn't hide.
you'll need a usb plug for it UNLESS i happen to find mine by the time the auction is over LoL

i have a 4th gen and my bat on it last bout 8hrs of music play. never used it for vids. but i dont think the bat would be all that diff from mine if that helps :)

you know, thats a good question!!! haha... i've never played it till it died. my daughter watches movies on it so i know that it'll last at least a couple hours, that's with the screen playing. if your just listing to music then i would guess AT LEAST double that if not longer.
