This listing is for a handcrafted washcloth origami cupcake that I personally created.
Placed in a multi-colored flower wrapper, the cupcake’s summer theme is shown in various photos and clip art including various tropical flowers, drinks and noticeably a cat enjoying an icy treat! These pictures are enhanced with gel pens and glitter glue amid a pattern of purple and clear crystals. What tops the Summer tropical theme is the tropical drink atop the cupcake—for me, this was a first in trying a more artistic approach in creating washcloth origami. From the bottom, the goblet is surrounded by silver holographic ribbon, clear and purple crystals. After a round of clear crystals, magenta and gold crystals are placed to create the look of a sparkling drink. To further enhance the sparkling drink look, the top of the goblet has both clear and light blue crystals—this is in order to give it the look of ice in a sparkling drink. There’s also a yellow flower on the goblet(enhanced with gold glitter glue). The cupcake measurements are 3” in diameter and 5” in height from the bottom of the cupcake to the top of the drink’s flower.
I’ve been making washcloth origami creations for about 2 years—just took a slight time off because of a slight case of carpal tunnel syndrome of which I’m recovering successfully from. In creating washcloth origami, I have two goals: 1) that you forget that this once was a simple unused washcloth and 2) that I’ve convinced you that this is truly a one of a kind item worth having!
