The listing, DELFTS BLUE MINI TEA POT VERY TINY has ended.
I believe this to be more delfts but it is not marked on bottom & is so tiny & cute thought i just list it & see if you can tell me anything as i have another tiny windmill salt shaker ? also could list.
Its so tiny i never tried it has an open spout so guess it does ,but can't find it right now, hope 4 year old Great Granddaughter didn't take it home with her lol.
Hi, My husband was born and raised in Holland and we vacation there every year. We believe this to be 'souvinier' Delft Blue, due to the windmil and the size. It probably WAS made in Delft, but is normally sold in (i'm spelling this next word wrong) souviner shops. The same is probably true of the other pieces that you mentioned.
No,the other pieces are all signed, this just looked like the rest,& i have one little salt or pepper shaker not signed,& 2 beautiful tiles ready for hanging signed, also some jewelry, i love it because it reminds me of my Mother's side of the family, may list later, thanks for your interest.
Even thought the other pieces are signed, they probably are souviner pieces. Not to be argumentative, but we've seen so much REAL Delft Blue, and I must add that ALL of the REAL Delft Blue is VERY valuable! So, my wish for you is that you have someone who can look at it in person and knows enough about it to tell you whether or not it's real. Good Luck
Thanks for your concern, but i'm 81 & have had two collectable stores & have a house full of more valueable items & never was in to Delft so just selling the few items i happen to have (as is ) & try to show pictures & answer all your questions
