Description

The listing, LOOK! PS2 Slim System With Two Games (good working condition) has ended.

This is an auction for a good working condition PS2 Slim system with controller, memory card, and two games.

I do not have the orignal powercord with it. I tried to call several gamestops to see if they had any in stock (they showed it cost for 1.99 on their site in used condition) but no local gamestops had any. However, I did find a substitute powercord that works just fine (obviously from the pictures) and powers the system. It was from another device. **NOTICE**: A fellow listian mentioned in comments that this powercord needs to be checked if its appropriate to use to power the ps2. If for some reason this cord is not good then winner will have to get a powercord. But I just want bidders to be aware of this. ***CONFIRMED this cord is not good to power long term use, it will burn out the system. I used it to show the system works, but winner will now have to find a powercord. You can get these fairly cheap, less than 10 bucks. Considering im paying for shipping, along with the system and items you get, that outweighs getting a cord yourself.

I do not have the TV input cord (the red, yellow, and white cord) This is easily obtainable. I was able to plug in the TV input cord from my PS3 to the PS2 to show that it worked. So, you should have no problem coming across this cord at a gamestop or online and can use either a PS2 cord or a PS3 cord.

The controller works fine. I didn't get to erase anything from the memory card though so that will probably need to be done.

Overall this system is in good condition for how old and years of use it has. I am including two games with it, The simpsons hit and run and the simpsons game. both have a few scratches over the years, but not a huge amount and work fine.

Please refer to my 100% positive feedback to assure this is a valid auction. it is FREE SHIPPING, so you don't have to pay for anything.

Just so you know. The AV cable (red, white, and yellow cable) had not changed since Sony came out. The ps1, ps2, and ps3 all use the exact same cord. That is why it is the only ps1 and ps2 item that didn't go down in price when they came out with the ps3. Please fan me. Thanks.

It's not the volts to worry about as much as the mA(amps). But you still need the right volts or close.

Thanks. I will have to look into that then. If its not appropriate then winner will have to find a ps2 powercord. I looked in several gamestops for one but they didnt have any. They cost about 1.99 on their site used. I found a few on amazon that werent too expensive either. I mainly used it to show it worked and they could use it as a substitute, but I will have to look into it to see if it wont harm the system. Thanks for your help.

You'd be getting a great buy. I got one right next to me and I love it for movies, music, and games. Especially for online games. It can even use firewire for untold speed online. Just think, they are using DSL so they are slower then you. You'd be the first on to the draw, so you will still be alive.

thanks for support. yes its a good system, especially with the years of use it has. still ticking and theres millions of games you can play on it. its like old school nintendo, you can still play it to this day and it's just as fun. nostalgic.

The big difference is the the slim flips up at the top to get the disk out and the original had a slide door in the front to get the disk.

Careful about that power cord. Make sure the specs on the power cord meet what the system can take. You don't want to burn it up.

You have to pay credits to get a premium auction? How much?
Sep 19th, 2012 at 7:09:30 PM PDT by
Original
yes, it depends on the availability listia has for slots, so the charge changes each time., but it usually ranges between 1300-1600

Please do not ask me to lower the days, as this is when I will have money again to send out more items. I already have some pending auctions that I need to send out this pay period. I also want enough time for people to see this auction. I am not doing a GIN either for the same reasons I just stated above.
