Also known as a John Wayne due to the actor shown using it in the Army can opener training film. The P-38 can opener is a small folding blade used to open canned rations and food. MIL-J-0837. Silver colored. US military P-38 can opener. Dimensions: 1.5 x 5/8 inches, tip extends .5 inches.
These are made by Rothco not Shelby, they function the same, look the same except for color, these have more of a shine to them
