I am giving away my 1ST Generation 8GB iPod Touch because I simply do not use it any more. It works PERFECTLY - but there is an issue. When you plug the charging cable in, more times than not it does not 'take' until you pull one side or the other of the plug out a few millimetres. (See photos) It's not loose, or broken, or any of that - and it is very easy to get it to take right off. It has been this way for a couple years now, and has never bothered me. Not the cable, for sure - I have AT LEAST 10, and it does the same on those I have tested on it. I have thought about hitting the port with a shot of contact cleaner (as I believe it is likely just dirty in there!) - but always decided not to. Like I said - it never bothered me and the iPod works perfectly, so why mess with it!

Factory restored. Battery takes a full charge and holds it well. WiFi is perfect. All other functions - perfect. Typical minor scratches all over from daily use - and there are a few dings on the edges. (I have blown them up HUGE in the photos - they are MUCH smaller in person!) Has never needed repair and has never been worked on.

Setting a fair GIN, and if used I will include a new charging cable and a zippered Case Logic soft case. I ship within 1 business day, and provide Tracking on all my Listia auctions. This iPod will ship 2-3 Day Priority Mail, and the winner will have USPS Tracking Information the same day that the listing ends.
