Hi snoreabitte, yes they are plastic, they are really just for decoration i guess you could wear them at halloween but as far as movie quality no they are not, just don't want anyone to think they are made of porcelen or something, they really belong to my son, went crazy over those movies, never have been used just sit on the wall as a display, hope that tells you what you want to know
