What part of Iowa? We just moved here in 2007, lived in Virginia for 23 years. It's nice here, but I still miss Virginia. Everyone around here goes to the state colleges. I've got one daughter who will start college next Fall (she's in Germany on a foreign exchange at the moment), and another daughter two years behind. They don't want to go to Iowa schools, though.

No kids yet. Still not married (yet), need to pick the man out first. I have most of my girls names picked out, although I'd like to have boys. I'm not in a rush for that anytime soon, but here are the names: Sofee, Evelette, Bridget, Madeline Maree, Cory, Caterinea, Develine (I don't even want that many kids.. I'd like to not go over two, but those are my favorite names). Funny.. my family has lots of unique names. My brother is Clifford and my other is steven. Sisters are Milinda and Dixie.

Really cool names! I can tell you've given this a lot of thought. Do you watch Millionaire Matchmaker (Bravo) and Tough Love (VH1) on TV? Those are GREAT shows for single women to watch. I've got three nieces in their 20s and they watch them, I think. Very fun!

Thanks. Ok quick story: So I was suppose to be born on Valentines day (one of my favorite holidays.. how cool would that have been) anyway - I was too small to pop the bubble, ended up 6 days late and Desarae is French for Desired one or long awaited for. Ergo, my name. It's also the name of the French women who ended up being a Swiss queen, and Napoleon was madly in love with her, but the feeling wasn't mutual.

That's a great story! Do you have kids? It's really hard to pick a name for kids, unless you have a family name you just HAVE to use. My second daughter got named when they brought me the form in the hospital. We hadn't really decided on a name yet, but I picked one I liked, Jaquelin, Jaqui for short!

Me too. I bought them 15 or 20 years ago, and since then my hands have gotten larger. I'm heavier, but I also think my knuckle bones have gotten larger ... can't get the little rings on any more!

Yes, this stone is purple. I try to get the colors accurate in my photos but I get a lot of glare and color weirdness from taking photos of such small items. It's a nice amethyst purple color, not washed out.
