The listing, Sterling silver Tiffany ring and earrings has ended.
I took these to my jeweler to see if they could verify authenticity. They couldn't say they were or were not. They could only verify its sterling silver. So bid at hour own risk. No box just a cleaning cloth. I. Purchased these at a estate sale. I have gently worn the ring. No bends,it still looks new. They do need a proper cleaning.
Take a look at the Tiffany mark with a jeweler's loupe or a strong magnifying glass. If the mark looks kind of white, and a bit sloppy, it's almost certainly fake. If it's deeply impressed, pretty much solid black, and very clear and crisp, it could be real.
Thank you, the jewelers couldn't tell. My magnifying glass isn't strong enough. I'm sure I can use there loupe. To look at it. Thank you for your information and help.
Also if you look at the name and the letters are all the same height and as the gentlemen earlier stated crisp, deep imprinted letters is how it should look if it is authentic...either way they are pretty..fanned and watching!
I will take a better look and post if the letters look right. I do have a bracelet and necklace I purchased at a garage sale and it is definitely fake. I've tried to compare. Thank you for your help.
Yes they both had pouches. I have literally taken everything out of my jewelry box and can't find them. We bought anew home 3 yrs ago and um we have a spare bedroom full of boxes. I've been ill and then had a biventricular defibrillator put in this past Christmas. I've just recently started going in to unpack. I last about 10 minutes because I get overwhelmed lol. I'm sorry I can't verify authenticity of this. That's why I stated it. I am doing everything suggested to try and help. I don't want anyone to feel ripped off. I can verify its sterling silver though. Fred Myers jewelers the looked at it for me.
