I have a 32D and this mint mark looks way different, and slightly off to where it should be. If it's authentic, you just might have a super rare die misstrike worth thousands! If I had the credits to bid I'd take the chance. Good luck !

Brooklyns; I know you hate me, but I'd say there's a good chance this isn't an authentic 32D. I can send you pictures showing the differences. I just looked up all die errors, and only one happened , it caused a crescent moon shape, with part of the left side missing, like in a crescent moon.In All other dies marks the edge of the left hand side of the "d" is exactly in line with the "r" in quarter. This one is slightly over to the left of the "r" and lastly, it's too high up. It's about .5mm too high. Here there's less distance from the top of the mint mark up, making the bigger gap on the bottom when it should be on the top. Here, the bigger distance is from the bottom of the mint mark down, so it's not lined up correctly, and is off center. Not to mention you can seen any depression in the middle of the "d" and the crescent die error was the only error where that occurred. This looks like soilder to me. But I could be wrong. There could be an error not listed on google. But just from the position it's it, I'd stay away from this one. The line "you get what you see" isn't too comforting either. There's no mention that the seller guarantees it to be authentic, you just get what you see. So just google some pics and compare them before you decide to put up a lot of credits on this. I'm just trying to help you out. I've seen a few mercury dimes that had a fake "d" put on them so I know what to look for. I know you hate me, so google it and proove me wrong and you can see for yourself. Better hurry, this comment will be deleted and I'll most definately get blocked! Just trying to help!

what you see is what you get I was talking about the condition. I have not done any thing to it but carry it in my wallet. if it is rare i don't know. I can tell you its a Quarter and silver. Which is why I have kept it.

It also could be just how the picture was taken. one really can not dub a coin as fake without looking it over before hand, There are some issues with coin that are evident, but it is clearly silver and a real coin, the error that this coin may have could be errors only to this coin! There are errors minted daily, the errors that are mass produced before caught are the ones which gain fame and have higher value! I am sure that most everyone here knows what a 1955 Double D is? A very mass produced error coin with very high value! There are at least a few thousand of those which makes it something that more than one collector can have! I won't be bidding on this one lol I have it and 4000 credits is pushing it, in my opinion! Good Luck however as I am sure you will do better with this one! I would say even if this is an error coin that it doesn't change the value to extensively~ My opinion however.
