This is a vintage 3 cent stamp, in used condition.
I got her in a bag of bottle caps from Goodwill a few years ago, and since I don't collect stamps, I decided to post her online. She was on Ebay for over two years, and no one would buy her. I posted her on Mercari for several months, and the story was the same. So, in desperation, I posted her on here.
The thing is, it's hard for me to keep her from harm. I've had to store her in a safe place, and I'm getting tired of it. I have her on here for a VERY low starting price, and haven't had a nibble. I have tried to be patient. BUT if no one buys her (C'mon, guys, it's very few points and free shipping) I will have no choice but to dispose of her. Out of respect for an antique and a national monument, I will burn this stamp, rather than putting her in the trash.
AS SOON AS THIS AUCTION ENDS, i WILL BE BURNING THIS STAMP. If you want to save this lovely antique from a fiery end, speak now or forever hold your peace.
