are these real emeralds or just emeraled colored stones

These are genuine, natural emeralds, just as stated in the description. There are different grades, therefor different colors. I'm not sure what grade these particular emeralds are. I do know, for a fact however, since this is my birthstone I have received different colors of emeralds, all of them real. You can tell a synthetic emerald because they are brilliant almost transparent green.

My wedding ring and engagement rings are emeralds. The engagement ring is lighter with Diamonds. My birth stone is in Aug but I love emeralds and have been married 48 years so I told my hubby being my original wedding ring was stoled from me so we went for emeralds and I got a fantastic sale. I love emeralds.
