Description

The listing, Northwood Carnival Glass Vase has ended.

Made by the Northwood glass company in Pennsylvania. Northwood company produced between 1908 to 1925.

This is their Carnival Glass vase standing 7" tall and five inches across the top. The base is is purple colored. It is fine ribbed .

This vase is 7" tall and in very good condition with no chips or cracks and showing very little signs of use. . The base color is amethyst with beautiful iridescent hues that include blue, teal, magenta and gold. It has the Northwood Glass mark of an underlined N in a circle on the base.

It was just pulled from my closet so it is showing use and isn't cleaned. I'm a terrible cleaner when I could be out with the horses.

I have a huge amount of things from my Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandparents and generations of things I fought to save from being tossed out as unwanted. I love it all but have reached saturation point where I no longer have room for my things..I'm slowly letting things go as I sort and clean. Heh heh! My big concern is finding my Winter wear before Winter hits hard. Some things I would never let go as they are so precious to me and the memories they evoke. This one is featured in "The Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass". It is a nice one. The one featured is same pattern, different color. This one looks purple to me.

Do you know the pattern? It looks like Northword Thin Ribbed, but the lip is overturned slightly like Morning Glory.
