Necklace very old and beautiful sterling silver and hand made with 16 inch chain which is not marked. mother of pearl and turquoise just fantastic!

That is a Vintage Old Pawn Native American Zuni piece. Quite unusual with the yellow mother of pearl and with both the sun face and thunder bird combined. It probably dates to the 60’s/70’s when many Native American silversmiths did not sign their jewelry. This is reminiscent of a Lonjose piece. It’s also rare to see a right facing one. I would test the metal. If you have 18k acid it’s an easy test. Just rub the metal on your test stone like you would with gold and put a drop of 18k acid on it, if it turns milky with a blue sheen it’s sterling
