Here you get 100 + seeds of the Eastern Red Columbine also known as Aquilegia Canadensis that were organically grown. This wonderful addition to every garden is hardy in zone 3 – 8. They grow to about 2 ‘ tall and spread 1-1.5 ‘. They need to have well drained soil and grow in shade as well as full sun. They will bloom for about a month in late spring to early summer. Hummingbirds and bumblebees love them.

Surface sow the seeds in early spring. They are already cold-stratified, so they are ready to be planted. They need to be surface sown, just press them in the soil and keep them moist.Soon you will have little plants. But these will start blooming the next spring. Great perennial that comes up realiably every year and grow a bit bigger every year.
