Previously, Nick Fury, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. tells Bruce Banner that an antiquated Hydra space station running on artificial intelligence has been floating above their heads since the 70's and it's evolved to a state wherein it converts solar energy into atomic energy. Fury's plan is to shoot Hulk into space and let him smash the station.
But to Hulk's surprise, when he finds the space station, there's a S.H.I.E.L.D. ligi on it.
